Problems we handle
- An AC system that is near the end of its life
- Repairs that keep coming back on an older unit
- Rooms that never get cool enough
- Replacing a system after a major failure
- Adding cooling to an addition or converted space
- Upgrading to a more efficient system
Planning a new system
We start with a walkthrough of the home and the existing equipment. That tells us whether the ductwork, electrical supply and location of the units will support a new system, and what size makes sense.
Because Ranger also handles electrical work, any panel or circuit changes the new system needs can be planned as part of the same job.

You approve the price before we start, and we leave the system running with a clear explanation of what was done.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I need a new AC or just a repair?
Age, the cost and frequency of repairs, and how well the system cools are the main factors. We explain the repair option and the replacement option so you can compare them.
Why does system size matter?
A system that is too small runs constantly and struggles in summer. One that is too large cycles on and off and can leave the house humid. Sizing should be based on the home, not just the old unit.
Do you remove the old equipment?
Removal of the old system is discussed and included in the scope when you need it, so it is clear before work begins.
