Frequently asked questions
Can I reset the disposal myself?
Many disposals have a reset button on the bottom. Turn it off first and never put your hand inside.
Repair or replace?
Leaks from the body of the unit usually mean replacement. Jams and connection leaks can often be repaired.
Is my dishwasher affected?
Often the dishwasher drains through the disposal, so a clog can affect both. We check the connection.
